When no candidate appears, restarting collection can feel like the immediate response. K-POP PULSE’s operating guidance separates a new-items view from collection health. One visible inbox number cannot establish the program’s state.
I do not invent an outage caused by an empty inbox. This account reads the diagnostic procedure alongside distinct collection, inbox and publication observations from October 13. That historical snapshot did not show an empty inbox.
A selected view can differ from all collected material
An inbox filtered to new state can exclude handled and dismissed items. Collection may proceed without changing that view’s count. Establish its state, period and limit before interpreting zero as a statement about the whole store.
The guidance retains separate reads of recent dismissed items and detection times. Absence from a view does not establish absence from storage. Collecting material and deciding to keep it as an editorial candidate are different states whose relationship needs inspection.
Quiet source activity and stopped execution need different evidence
A period can contain no new source post, or contain a source post that collection missed. I would inspect relevant source activity, recent detection and execution outcomes together. One count cannot determine which case applies.
Separate failed execution, successful execution with no additions and an outcome not yet observed. Unavailable evidence should not become normality, while every zero should not trigger another overlapping run. Identify the actual execution owner before selecting an action.
The recorded collection and publication had different rhythms
The October 13 diagnostic output shows one completed scan with zero new items and another with one. Recent records and inbox detection time are inspected separately. Collection and public writing did not move as one number in that observation.
The snapshot also contains many new issues while the last publication has a different time. It is not an experience of an empty current inbox. Nor does it establish present whole-service uptime or the health of every collection path. Keep historical observations and diagnostic method bounded.
Editorial waiting and failure do not share one remedy
Collected material not yet selected for writing may require editorial judgment and evidence review. Running another collector does not automatically increase publication in that state. A confirmed failure instead calls for inspection of its actual connection and execution step.
A changed operating arrangement can change diagnostic paths. September guidance revises former container retry notes after moving to an always-running service. It is not a rule that every present failure has the same cause. Read responses, execution state and source activity to locate the next check.
Keep a record that identifies the next inspection
The new map below is neither an uptime report nor an automatic health classifier. It separates visible-view results, collection time, scan outcome, source activity and editorial/publication activity, including what remains unavailable.
The evidence behind a failure label serves the next task more than the label itself. Another AI or computer needs the view and period inspected to continue judgment. Acting on a page with no new article starts by explaining the different states between collection and editing.
Explore the implementation
New explanatory diagnostic map; not uptime or automatic health proof.

// New diagnostic map. No availability percentage or automatic health classifier.A limited reading and the whole queue have different denominators
The recorded inbox read returns 200 visible items while another diagnostic reports a larger new-issue queue. Those are not one denominator for judging how much work remains. Keep the query’s limit and state with its count, then inspect the needed range instead of treating a limited page as the complete store.
One recent detection also cannot establish successful collection for every source. A relevant source needs its own last observation and conditions for inspecting failed or missing work. I do not turn this bounded diagnostic into whole-service availability. Read observations with their dates and ranges to identify what may remain behind a quiet screen.
