A new file running successfully need not mean the original was recovered. K-POP PULSE’s reissue README explicitly describes a package rebuilt from approved specifications, rather than byte-for-byte recovery of the earlier ZIP. I consider that distinction part of explaining the result.

This is not a claim that the ZIP supplied for this task has been lost. It concerns the historical reconstruction choice described inside the retained material. I explain what remained, what was unavailable and how rebuilding was separated from recovery.

Inspect remaining material before inventing a cause

The README says a previously generated sandbox binary was unavailable in that session. That document alone cannot establish why it disappeared or who removed it. It establishes the limit on claiming the previous binary had been restored exactly.

Before reconstruction, record specifications, code, data and configuration separately. One missing file does not mean every piece of knowledge is gone. A specification does not mean every earlier data record has returned. The starting point is identifying the evidence available for the new build.

Runnable software and original identity need different checks

A new implementation can be built from a specification and tested for installation and execution. That does not establish that every file and value matches a prior ZIP. Without original hashes or retained data for comparison, identity needs to be described within a different evidence boundary.

Customers benefit from the distinction too. Restoring a function, recovering prior content and making the next task possible are different promises with different checks. I avoid placing them all inside one statement of successful execution.

An import template did not replace missing source rows

The document states that the earlier 762-row source master was unavailable and a 42-column import template was supplied. Row count and column count describe different things. Having a schema template was not presented as recovery of the registered data.

I read this as a criterion against making empty data appear complete. Where registration needs a verified source, invented example rows should not be substituted as the authoritative records. Synthetic teaching data and operational data need their purposes kept distinct.

Leave a clear starting point for the next operator

The reissue boundary needs to remain at the operating entry point, beyond an initial explanation. Someone who assumes all old data has been included may skip import and verification. State what was delivered and which original material is still required.

That is different from requiring the user to understand every implementation detail. It makes missing material, responsibility and actual installation state readable. Another computer or AI can then continue without exaggerating reconstruction as original recovery.

Use a provenance record without fabricating its evidence

The new ledger below illustrates the principle for another task. It records a build from a specification alongside unavailable source material. It is synthetic structure, rather than an actual restoration report or hash from this project.

A real integration should inspect original presence, hashes and data scope, leaving unverified items open. Explain similarity against the available comparison criteria. A formatted report should not manufacture an unsupported claim of identity or completed recovery.

Explore the implementation

New explanatory provenance ledger; not the historical project’s restoration result.

Preserve a record that can be inspected again

For this series, the supplied ZIP is retained as source material and distinguished from new examples and reading records. Its description of an earlier missing package is not merged with the current preservation state. The original is not edited to make the new explanation fit.

I want to leave a precise starting point for the next task, beyond a reassuring recovery sentence. When recovered material, newly written code and still-needed data are clear, someone else can verify the work or continue toward a better implementation.
