A request to fix the shared problems was followed by an instruction to proceed one item at a time. The repair functions could be common, but page structures, available material and prior changes varied. Success on the first site could not be copied into a completion mark for every other destination.
The original ledger separates common requirements from additional site-specific items and retains the current inspection position. Later reports collect results across sites and pages. I read the code alongside the totals to understand what each passing state established and what remained outside it.
Separate a repair function from its many target pages
A common function can address repeated introductions or image presentation. Home pages, detail routes and alternate saved paths do not necessarily share a structure. One site may contain multiple selectors while another has no relevant material. The rule needs to be connected to the actual target-page inventory.
The historical ledger retains issue states and changed pages for each site. The repair also checks final source conditions rather than accepting a deletion count as proof. No change because a page was already correct differs from no change because the target was never found. Mutation count and resulting state need separate interpretation.
Check the file connection and the functional conditions together
The original audit checks common CSS and JavaScript references and equality of copied file contents. It also examines page-specific presentation markers, repeated wording and selection structure. It goes beyond the mere presence of a stylesheet. Additional repairs and preservation of an existing working VR have separate comparisons.
A current file in the folder is insufficient if the page still reads an older path. Conversely, a valid reference may not produce the intended result when the selector does not match the page. Comparing the canonical rule, the site copy and the page connection helps locate the next repair accurately.
Ask whether the passing check had an actual target
Some audit conditions run only when a matching element exists. A loop over absent elements can end without making a comparison. The report’s proved label therefore means that the code-defined condition passed. It should not be expanded into a claim that every feature was observed visually on every website.
A more informative ledger can retain applicability as well as the result. Separating no target, observed check and outstanding verification reveals gaps that a large total can obscure. I do not claim the historical audit already recorded all those distinctions. Reading its actual conditions supplied the reason to make the meaning of a pass clearer.
Explain the remaining kind of verification alongside the total
The historical report reads53sites and more than800pages with multiple shared-requirement checks. Its code and records establish source and file-connection inspection. Visual review remains assigned to the user. A large count does not establish native keyboard, scrolling or inquiry operation.
Site-specific exceptions and preservation of working features must accompany the total. Replacing one broken VR does not authorize replacement of another working destination. A sequential record with targets and evidence retains a restart position and outstanding checks. It is both a progress ledger and a map for continuing work.
Give the customer an interpretable inspection record
A record can place problem, target page, repair location, post-change check, visual review and remaining question together. The customer can see where a common repair applies to their own website. The maker reports source inspection and observed screens with different evidence. Clear meanings are more useful than adding many indistinguishable status fields.
The method is not to mark a large collection complete at once. It is to make the repeated repair common and verify its result at each applicable target. Code can be shared, but another website’s completion evidence cannot be copied with it. As the work grows, that boundary needs a more precise record.
